The Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce, established in 1955, is a pro-active Chamber that works to enhance, develop, protect and inform the businesses of the Chamber and the Town of Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. Cooperative efforts in marketing, advertising and promotion have established Lauderdale-By-The-Sea as a vacation and relocation destination.
The Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Visitor's Guide, published annually by the Chamber of Commerce, provides a wealth of information about the area for visitors and newcomers and is an excellent advertising opportunity for any business trying to reach new markets. With distribution in welcome centers throughout Florida as well as many area hotels, restaurants and businesses, the Visitor's Guide enjoys a readership of approximately 40,000 annually.
Our Welcome Center is a friendly and helpful resource open seven days a week providing information on local accommodations, restaurants, services and attractions to approximately 25,000 visitors annually. Special Events
The Lauderdale-By-The-Sea Chamber of Commerce organizes a number of fund raisers and events during each year. Community and business involvement is encouraged to promote goodwill among residents and visitors. Twice a year the Chamber sponsors an arts and crafts show where visiting artisans and craftsmen showcase their wares over a two day period. The Chamber also organizes Taste-of-the-Beach where guests can sample a variety of offerings from local restaurateurs while enjoying live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and a silent auction. Participation in these events is a great way to get involved so that other Chamber members get to know you and your business. |
